Workshop, practice, office or outdoor? On the job, the area of use determines which fabric is best suited. At the same time, the quality of the material determines the quality and durability of the garment. That's why we only use first-class cotton, fine merino wool and high-performance functional fibres such as COOLMAX®, TRIACTIVE or our power blend MIKRALINAR®.
SELECTED NATURAL FIBRES
For cotton, the longer the fibre, the higher the quality of the fabric. That is why we only use long-staple qualities with a fibre length of at least 30 mm. For Pima cotton, the fibre length is even 36 mm. We are also extremely selective when it comes to merino wool. We pay attention to fine, soft qualities for an even stitch pattern and high wearing comfort. Our jumpers and cardigans can even be machine washed at 30 degrees.
INNOVATIVE FUNCTIONAL FIBRES
Whether it's hot, cold, windy or wet, functional fibres can cope with any weather and make them comfortable to wear. The classics are breathable materials that transport moisture away from the body to the outside. Reliable protection against the cold is provided by windproof textile fibres that shield the body and prevent it from cooling down quickly. And it gets really cosy with heat-insulating fleece or membranes.
THE BEST OF TWO WORLDS: MIKRALINAR®
The MIKRALINAR® material combines the strengths of an innovative high-performance polyester with those of cotton and offers ingenious moisture management. The cotton absorbs moisture and the polyester ensures that it is quickly transported away from the body. MIKRALINAR® has excellent wear properties, is extremely hard-wearing and has a long service life. It is abrasion and tear resistant, has a low pilling tendency and is easy to care for. We have developed an entire collection of high-performance textiles from this versatile material. HAKRO Performance: clothing that can take a lot of punishment and stay in shape for a long time.
ALSO PLEASANT TO THE SKIN
All HAKRO textiles are certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, having been independently tested for harmful substances against limits that go beyond legal requirements. For workwear worn close to the skin every day, that is a meaningful assurance.
