For selected products, we rely on materials and supply chains that are certified in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS is an internationally recognised standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibres and defines requirements throughout the textile supply chain.

Certification covers not only the fibres used but also the processing stages throughout the supply chain. Certified companies are required to meet defined environmental and social criteria. These include requirements relating to the use of certain chemicals and processing aids in textile manufacturing, as well as criteria concerning working conditions and management systems. Compliance with these requirements is verified by independent certification bodies.

Products containing GOTS-certified cotton must meet requirements regarding the minimum proportion of organically produced natural fibres. In addition, all companies involved within the certified supply chain must hold valid GOTS certification. This enables the traceability of materials and processing stages within the certified system.

By working with GOTS-certified suppliers, we support compliance with the requirements defined by the standard throughout the textile supply chain. Certification creates transparency regarding the materials used and the processes within the certified value chain.
